I don't know about you, but I get excited about solstices. Today, the sun rose at 7:16 a.m. and will set at 4:31 p.m. This is the shortest day and longest night of the year. After today, there will be a little bit more daylight each day.

I love the solstice as well. I think it's healthy to be reminded that we're not as in charge of the world as we'd like to be.
